Pickleball in Guayama, Puerto Rico

Guayama has one of the south coast's clearest public-play routines: four lighted courts in Urbanizacion Rexmanor and weekday open play at 5:30 p.m. The setup is free, supports several simultaneous games, and has a local certified instructor for players who want structured improvement.

Where to Play Pickleball in Guayama

Rexmanor Guayama Pickleball

Calle Principal at Calle 1, Urbanizacion Rexmanor, Guayama, PR 00784. Four outdoor concrete courts have permanent pickleball lines, portable nets, and lights. The courts are public and free. Open play begins at 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, making this the best documented recurring schedule in Guayama and a reliable place for solo players to enter the paddle rotation.

The courts support both recreational and competitive groups. For local coordination, call 787-548-4432. The PRPA south-region directory lists the four-court setup and weekday program.

Monte Olivo Courts

Urbanizacion Monte Olivo, Guayama, PR 00784. This neighborhood complex has four outdoor asphalt courts used for pickleball. It is a useful second option for a planned group, but Rexmanor remains the stronger choice for established open play, lights, and club activity.

Cancha de Pickleball Salinas

53 Calle Cadavedo, Salinas, PR 00751. About 25 minutes west, this covered, lighted dedicated court has permanent lines and a permanent net. The roof makes it the nearest practical backup during strong sun or passing rain.

Pickleball Lessons in Guayama

Randy Bones is Guayama's Level 1 Puerto Rico Pickleball Association instructor, credential PRPA-CI-0011-L1. Reach him directly at 787-373-0293 to arrange beginner instruction, technique work, or a small-group session at the local courts.

Players west of the city can also work with Ramon Luis Rodriguez in Coamo, credential PRPA-CI-0048-L1, at 787-247-0728. Additional island instructors appear in the Coaches section.

Leagues and Pickleball Events

Rexmanor's weekday 5:30 p.m. open play is Guayama's main recurring event and functions as the local league network. Four courts allow players to separate games by ability or run short round robins without displacing all casual play.

Rexmanor has hosted organized brackets including the Guayama Women's Tournament, and the venue continues to appear on Puerto Rico's tournament calendar. The court lights support evening draws, while the local phone contact at 787-548-4432 connects competitors with Guayama Pickleball.

What Visiting Players Should Know

Go directly to Calle Principal and Calle 1 in Rexmanor for the weekday 5:30 p.m. group. Evening play is more comfortable in Guayama's heat and the lights allow sessions to continue after sunset. Bring paddles, balls, water, and sun protection; portable nets are part of the local setup.

The courts are free and no membership is required. Solo visitors should use the established Monday-Friday time, while a complete foursome can use Rexmanor or Monte Olivo outside the group block. During rain, the covered Salinas court is the nearest dedicated alternative.
